Curioser and Curioser Alice

Artist: Tracy Evans
Blog post: Tracy Evans - Oh, Alice
Location: Crewe - Cheshire - United Kingdom

I first saw this wonderful piece when Tracy entered it in an Oh, Alice! challenge to use all white except for the main image panel. I would say that Tracy did a fabulous job, true to the Alice spirit! She started with the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland collection. Other Wonderland elements in include a white rose (remember when the club cards painted the white roses red so as not to upset the Queen of Hearts?) and hearts surround the main image panel, embossed with script which seems so "suitable" for this story! There is not much more curious than Alice after she grew too far, so the sentiment seems quite fitting! I love the mixed media touches of fabric and lace on her skirt, chipboard, flowers, and pearls.

Tracy is a very talented mixed media artist who was the co-owner of Craft Addicts for nine years, but has since moved on to spend more time with her children, husband, and, lucky for us, papercrafting. She is on The Stamp Attic design team and a guest designer for The Artistic Stamper. When she is not occupied with these she is a passionate gardener at her home and allotment in the United Kingdom in Crewe, Cheshire (a perfect location for an Alice artist to be sure!) Please stop by her blog post to leave her some love, and to congratulate her on making the cover of the current Stampers Sampler! I am sure you will see Tracy on The Altered Alice again!

Tracy, please help yourself to the "I was featured on The Altered Alice" badge in the right sidebar. I hope you will display it and link it back to this post, and thanks so much for allowing me to share your work!
